Don’t worry ( I was just kidding ), Its been more than 6 months I have started reading about these supplements as to how they can really help us to increase the intensity of our workouts and what are the side effects associated with them.

HOW MUCH DO I TAKE DAILY
For first week , I am planning to stick to two grams of l-carnitine and would go to three grams in second week.
By third week I will increase the dosage to four grams and again fourth week I will decrease the dosage to 3 grams and then again in fifth week I will take two grams a day.
I will make sure that I do not make my body habitual to L-carnitine but take a break of at-least 7-10 days before starting it again.
I mix L-carnatine with water and drink in between the workout. It has really increased the intensity of my workout and decreased my rest time between sets.
It is always good to keep your body hydrated during workouts and adding a flavor of L-carnitine makes water more tasty ( just trying to give you one more reason to include it ).
I add around 400 ml of water to start with and if I feel the need I refill my sipper rather than finishing first shot completely.
WHAT CHANGES I HAVE OBSERVED IN MY WORKOUT-BENEFITS OF L-CARNITINE
Since the day I have included L-carnitine, I have observed that I have started lifting heavier weights and it feels good that I am able to do good number of repetitions with that heavy dumbbell.
Earlier I use to do Incline Bench Fly with a 20 kg dumbbell and do 12-14 reps but after including L-carnitine as an intra-workout drink I am able to complete 10 reps with a 25 kg dumbbell.
I feel less fatigue and the major improvement is seen during the legs workout where in I am able to add an extra weights in my leg press and weighted squats.
THINGS YOU CAN CONSIDER
Some studies have shown that intake of L-carnitine sometimes causes nausea or diarrhea.
L-carnitine should not be consumed if you have heart disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, high blood pressure or any other medical condition.You should consult your physician prior to using this product.
